The sum total of circumstantial evidence presented at trial supported a reasonable inference that a man who was riding in a car with friends was guilty of possessing and planning to sell marijuana, the full Court of Special Appeals has held.

Eight of the 12 judges voted to affirm a lower court decision, which found James Bradley Larocca possessed a bag of marijuana found just below the front passenger seat he occupied in a friend's car in January 2003.
