A man convicted of two murders and an attempted murder will get a new trial because the judge improperly closed the courtroom during a witness' testimony, the Court of Special Appeals has ordered.

But the court dismissed Davon Nathan Markham's argument that he was entitled to a hearing on whether the fingerprint evidence in his case was scientifically admissible.
