Demolishing a near-century-old downtown Baltimore apartment building is one of two options being weighed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore as it plans a grand setting for the soon-to-be-restored Baltimore Basilica.

The few remaining residents of the circa 1908 Rochambeau apartment building are expected to move by year's end, clearing the way for the archdiocese to either board it up or knock it down.
