For 12 years, the Old Town Mall Association has worked on revitalizing the neglected pedestrian mall on Baltimore's East Side. Thus far, it doesn't have anything to show for it.
Still, hope remains as the Baltimore Development Corp., the city's quasi-public economic development agency, yesterday issued a 60-day request for proposals for Old Town Mall. It is seeking proposals for a five-acre development site comprising 33 parcels in the 400 and 500 blocks of North Gay Street.See the full content of this document
