Lobbyist Bruce C. Bereano has agreed to pay $29,070 to settle a long-running disciplinary action against him, according to a final order to be posted by the State Ethics Commission on Thursday.
The commission ordered Bereano's lobbying license suspended for 10 months in 2003 and fined him $5,000 after finding that a September 2001 contract with Mercer Ventures called for him to receive an illegal bonus.See the full content of this document
