Charles B. Day Renominated for U.S. District Court in Greenbelt

President Obama has again nominated Charles B. Day for a seat on the U.S. District Court in Greenbelt. Day, 53, is a magistrate judge on that court, which covers Maryland's southern division.

Obama nominated Day in July to succeed Judge Peter J. Messitte, who has taken senior status. However, the Senate Judiciary Committee failed to vote on Day's nomination, and it expired when Congress adjourned last year.
