When media director Jamie Breazeale started at Baltimore-based Cornerstone seven years ago, she struggled to convince clients to buy online advertising.

But now the marketing firm's large, big-brand advertisers, as well as its smaller business clients, are turning more and more frequently to the Internet to market themselves - joining a medium that is expected to more than double in revenue during the next five years, according to a new report.
