Constellation Energy Group Works Toward Building New Reactors at Some Nuclear Generating Sites

Constellation Energy Group is quietly working toward building new reactors at some of its nuclear generating sites, the first of which could be Calvert Cliffs in Lusby.

According to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the company intends to seek a series of approvals for five new reactors. The process could begin late next year with an application for Calvert Cliffs.
