Another attempted resurrection of the Sparrows Point shipyard was expected to receive a tail wind last night with a vote by the Baltimore County Council to approve a $15,000 grant for the business.
SPS Limited Partnership, an arm of owner Barletta Willis Investments LLC, has also asked for a $150,000 grant from the state Department of Business and Economic Development. The state grant, which was contingent upon yesterday's county resolution, is expected to be delivered in about two weeks, said Karen Glenn, a DBED spokeswoman.See the full content of this document
