Health care reform was one of the casualties of the state's budget shortfall in this year's legislative session, but lawmakers are still searching for ways to expand health care coverage as well as ways to pay for it.
The Senate Finance Committee held its first meeting of the interim Tuesday to discuss health care access and affordability. The panel is just one group looking into the issue in between legislative sessions.
