A lawsuit by an environmental group over the presence of lead shot in Great Seneca Creek will go forward against a Montgomery County skeet shooting club and the secretary of the Department of Natural Resources.

U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles Jr. denied a motion to dismiss the suit against National Capital Skeet and Trap Club Inc. as well as a motion for summary judgment by Secretary C. Ronald Franks on alleged violations of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
