Blind group files suit
The National Federation of the Blind is suing the Ohio Secretary of State and 31 county election boards for failure to provide voting machines and voting systems that are accessible to blind voters. The Baltimore-based NFB filed a complaint in United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio alleging violation of blind Ohioans' civil rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
