U.S. District Judge William M. Nickerson dismissed The Burns & Russell Co. of Baltimore City Inc.'s patent and trademark action over its Spectra-Glaze block in Baltimore's federal court against Marathon, Wis.-based licensee County Concrete Corp., a related company and two corporate officers. Nickerson noted in a memorandum filed this week that an earlier case between the same parties in Wisconsin federal court in which the 214-year-old Baltimore building block maker was the defendant had been dismissed without prejudice and referred to an arbitration that never took place.See the full content of this document
