The Baltimore law firm of Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver is telling nonprofit organizations interested in applying for its annual $35,000 community grants program to hurry up and get their applications in, as the deadline for completed applications is Aug. 4. One $15,000 and two $10,000 grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations with programs focused on enriching the lives of underprivileged children, improving living standards for lower income families with children, and creating educational opportunities for at-risk youth. The program is open to nonprofit organizations serving the Baltimore City and Washington areas.
