In fact, despite the increased size of 2010's verdicts, altogether the top ten don't add up to that $150 million payout.
Richard Falcon, an attorney with Murphy PA who was instrumental in winning the second-largest verdict of 2010, said he doesn't see the rise in monetary awards this year as a trend."Very good cases, tried very well, produce very nice verdicts," he said.
