Summary


A criminal defendant was not entitled to discovery of certain parts of a Baltimore police officer's internal affairs file because the trial court did not follow proper procedure in assessing his need for it, the Court of Special Appeals has held.

The intermediate appellate court vacated Baltimore City Circuit Judge John N. Prevas' order directing the release of certain portions of arresting officer Detective Michael Dressel's personnel file to Tevonne Clark, against whom he was scheduled to testify.
