McCormick & Co. Inc., the Sparks-based spice and food flavor giant, has settled with the Kansas equipment manufacturer whose cinnamon processor, McCormick alleged, flaked paint into 400,000 pounds of the reddish-brown spice.
Attorneys for McCormick and Wichita-based Kice Industries filed a stipulation of dismissal in the litigation on Friday, and Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Nickerson approved it the same day. Attorneys in the case and a McCormick spokesman did not immediately return calls for comment Friday afternoon, and no one picked up at Kice headquarters.See the full content of this document
