AAI Corp., of Hunt Valley, a defense contractor that manufactures high-tech mechanical and electronic systems, said it received a $39 million production order from the military for additional Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The order includes two additional units for the U.S. Army and one for the Marine Corps. To date, AAI has delivered 91 Shadow systems of 116 ordered, and deliveries now extend through March 2011. Each Shadow system consists of four unmanned aircraft, ground control stations, ground data terminals and associated components and support equipment.See the full content of this document
