The makers of SmartShirt, a T-shirt-like garment that tracks its wearer's vital signs, are moving to Maryland and tweaking their signature product for military and public safety use.
With a contract from the U.S. Department of Defense valued at nearly $1 million, New York-based Sensatex Inc. will develop prototypes for uniforms that can monitor a first responder's location, track his or her vital signs and relay the information using wireless technology to monitors.See the full content of this document
